For the past three years, LMI Group International has employed cutting-edge computational science, extensive data analysis, and rigorous scientific methodologies to resurrect a lost masterpiece by one of history’s most revered painters—Vincent van Gogh. The painting, titled Elimar, offers new insights into van Gogh’s tumultuous life, marked by profound regret, fractured identity, and ultimately, redemption. We created this immersive digital experience to tell this incredible story.

van Gogh's world is presented as a dream. We created an advanced particle system that mimics the unconscious mind, where solid shapes resolve at a distance, but disperse upon closer examination, remaining just out of reality's reach.
